Device Doctors – Technician App Terms & Conditions

Applies To: All registered and authorized technicians using the Device Doctors Technician App.
By accessing or using the Device Doctors Technician App, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or our platform.
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Only approved and verified technicians authorized by Device Doctors can use this app.
- Technicians must provide valid ID proof, bank details, skill certificates, and a signed NDA/agreement before receiving assignments.
- The login credentials shared are personal and confidential. Sharing credentials is strictly prohibited.
2. App Usage Guidelines
- Use the app only for:
- Accepting service calls
- Tracking assigned jobs
- Updating visit statuses
- Uploading photos and quotes
- Communicating with admins
- Do not use the app for personal tasks or unauthorized data access.
3. Service Quality Expectations
- Technicians must:
- Arrive on time for scheduled visits
- Wear proper uniform and carry ID card
- Communicate politely and professionally
- Diagnose accurately and report issues transparently
- Avoid upselling or misleading customers for extra charges
- Failure to follow standard protocols may lead to warnings, job loss, or suspension.
4. Communication & Reporting
- Technicians must keep the admin updated via the app in case of:
- Delays or rescheduling
- Unreachable customers
- Issues requiring lab support or parts
- Use the in-app reporting system or official WhatsApp group for updates.
- All photos uploaded must be clear, authentic, and time-stamped.
5. Part Requests & Quotes
- All part requests must be submitted via the app with:
- Photos
- Diagnosis notes
- Exact model or part numbers (if available)
- Quotes must be accurate and approved by the admin before proceeding with the repair.
- No part should be installed without customer approval through the app.
6. Payments & Incentives
- Payments for technician services will be:
- Based on service type, number of completed jobs, and feedback ratings
- Credited weekly or monthly to the registered bank account
- Incentives or bonuses (if applicable) are based on performance, punctuality, and customer satisfaction
- Misuse or manipulation of service data will result in incentive forfeiture.
7. Confidentiality & Data Use
- All customer data, device details, pricing, and internal communications are strictly confidential.
- Technicians must not share customer information, invoices, or job data with any third party.
- Breach of data confidentiality may lead to termination and legal action.
8. Prohibited Conduct
- Technicians are strictly prohibited from:
- Demanding personal tips or cash from customers
- Engaging in abusive or threatening behavior
- Performing unrecorded services outside the app
- Sharing or replicating app data, screens, or customer databases
9. Dispute & Complaint Handling
- If a technician faces:
- Harassment or denial of access
- Payment-related issues
- Part delivery delays
- They must report it via the app or admin helpline. Device Doctors will investigate and resolve all complaints professionally.
10. Modifications to Terms
- Device Doctors reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Technicians will be notified via app announcements or internal communication.
- Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the latest terms.
11. Termination of Access
- Device Doctors reserves the right to suspend or remove any technician account found violating these terms or company policy.
- All dues will be settled based on the completion status and final approval of jobs.
